Let the building begin! During this 4 half-day camp, students become engineers as they plan and build structures using top of the line fischertechnik building manipulatives. During each activity, students develop an understanding of forces, strength and efficiency and how each affects their structures. As the builds become more complex, critical thinking and problem solving skills are used to create stable and functional models. From bridges to buildings, master engineers gain an understanding of engineering principles and how they apply to real-world structures. At the end of the camp, each structure is put to the test against forces of nature and students are challenged to create structures that can stand against anything!
